The Russia No. 12 — ORIGINS necklace is a tribute to Russia and to the connection to one's own roots—regardless of where in the world you call home today.

We have designed two different motifs of home for Russia. You decide which one best tells your personal connection to your homeland:

Two designs – two stories of home

Design 01 — Matryoshka

The Matryoshka is one of the most famous motifs of Russian folk art. For ORIGINS, we intentionally did not interpret it as a playful representation, but as a delicate, ornamental jewelry motif.

Its unique form—a figure containing other figures within it—can also be read as a beautiful symbol for generations, family, and passed-down memories. What was before us, we carry within us to some extent.

Floral ornaments and the blossom in the center pick up the decorative design of traditional Matryoshkas and give the engraving its fine, feminine aesthetic.

A design for all those who associate Russia primarily with family, tradition, and their own roots.

Design 02 — Onion Domes

The second design is dedicated to a completely different side of Russia: its unmistakable architecture.

The characteristic onion domes are reminiscent of historical Russian churches and cathedrals and cityscapes whose silhouettes are immediately associated with Russia.

The detailed architecture is framed by a delicate branch and complemented into a small landscape composition. This does not create a mere depiction of a building, but rather a romantic interpretation of Russian architecture and home.

This motif stands for places, memories, and familiar images—for streets and cities that may be far away and yet still feel like home.

Both motifs are crafted as a fine diamond engraving on the front of your pendant.

Your story doesn't end on the front.

You can have the back of your ORIGINS pendant engraved with your personal message free of charge—the personalization is already included in the price.

While your chosen Russia motif is created on the front as a delicate diamond engraving, your personal message on the back is immortalized as a dark laser engraving.

Note on engraving

Every piece of jewelry is individually engraved for you after your order is received and is therefore considered a personalized custom item. Since every engraving is made individually, fine deviations in intensity and appearance compared to the product images may occur.
